How prepared are you ?
Marble is extracted from marble quarries. Usually no explosives are used during removal, because shock waves formed during detonation can lead to breaking and cracking in the mass. For this reason, channeling devices operated with pencil-tipped steel rods that open cavities about 5cm wide and several metres deep are utilized.
